Introduction to the AEIS Exam!

At our college, we have a preparatory program such as AEIS - Admissions Exercise for International students. This program is catered for international students who wish to apply or to enroll at a primary or secondary government school in Singapore. AEIS is a centralized admissions exercise system which is conduced by the Ministry of Education Singapore. The examination is held in September or October each year. International students who have successfully passed this examination can apply for a government primary and or secondary school in January of the following year.

The content of the AEIS centralized examination exercise would cover English literacy, numeracy and reasoning and logical thinking skills.

At our college, both English and Mathematics are offered. International students who are interested in applying for a place in a Singapore government's primary and or secondary schools need to recognize that English is the medium of instruction in Singapore. We recommend that all students taking the AEIS examination should be fully prepared before siting for the examination. Students should have a clear understanding of the English and Mathematics syllabus for the grades they are applying for.

Course subjects: English and mathematics

AEIS registration requirements:

Academic level: a level lower than the entry level

Language level: pass the entry test at a lower level than the entry level or through the entry level

Course system:
6 months

Note: The admission of the AEIS exam is based on the test scores of the candidates, the location of the candidate's address, and the number of vacancies in government schools. Candidates do not have the right to choose their own school. AEIS will not publish test scores. At the same time, the Singapore Ministry of Education does not accept candidates for transfer applications.
